Humane Euthanasia

Making end-of-life decisions for your pet is difficult.  We are here to help you with any questions or concerns that you have.  If you decide that it is time, you can bring your animal to us.  You can be present or not present for any or all of the process.  We normally start with a small injection in the muscle that will relax and sedate your animal.  When you are ready, we will then administer an intravenous injection that causes brain function and then heart function to cease.

We recommend deciding in advance whether you will bury your pet or have them cremated.  We utilize Memorial Pet Services in Madison, Wisconsin.  They are a wonderful group of people who treat pets as if they are their own; with dignity and respect.  We can give you more information on cremation options, or you can visit their website.
